BREYER/OTHER BRANDS OPEN HALTER CLASSES - DOUBLE JUDGED
Open to all makes of plastic model horses except Peter Stone. Mini scales (Stablemate, Littlebit, TinyMites etc) have their own division.
PLEASE PROVIDE 2 CARDS PER HORSE: All realistic colored horses will show on one table at one time - and be judged or breed (use a white card) and collectibility (use a colored card). This includes all tests, OOAK, judges models etc. Unrealistic special effects horses and vintage horses will have a class of their own following breed.

If you want your horse judged for breed placings - provide a WHITE 3X5 index card - no substitutions. Mark card with a large "B" next to the class number.

If you want your horse judged for collectiblity placings - provide a COLORED 3X5 index card - no substitutions

YOUTH HALTER DIVISION
YOUTH & 4-H BREED CLASSES:
(Youth & 4-H classes are open to all youth showers 18 years of age and under as of January 1st, 2010. 4-H members are expected to wear the official 4-H uniform or a 4-H t-shirt. This division is not NAN qualified. Youth may not cross-enter into Open classes; entrant must choose to show either in the Youth Division or the Open division - but cannot show in both.

JUDGED ON BREED STANDARDS. Partbreds show in breed type the mold most closely resembles. Simple windswept manes and tails are now common and go into Regular Breed classes.

JUDGE'S SPECIAL AWARDS:
Each division's judge will have 6 ticket invitations that will read "You are invited to participate in the Judge's Special Class". These tickets will be issued throughout the day to horses that standout in that judge's opinion due to exceptional color,condition, or expression. These are models that tugged on the judge's heart in a special way. Each judge will be asked to issue between 3 and 6 tickets - but no more. A special award rosette will be awarded by that judge once all ticket-holding models are gathered together for a final look... naming one horse or pony per division as the one the "caught the judge's heart."
